Registration for the event is available through the official Erode Marathon website.

Corporate organisations registering more than 30 participants may use group registration. Contact the event organisers for group-registration support.

Minimum Age Criteria for Each Event as on 16th November 2026:

  • Twenty Miler (32.18 km) – Minimum age: 18 years
  • Half Marathon (21.1 km) – Minimum age: 18 years
  • 10 km Run – Minimum age: 15 years
  • 5 km Run – Minimum age: 10 years
  • Majaa Run (5 km Non-Timed) – Minimum age: 8 years

Important Notes:

  • Participants must cross all timing mats placed at checkpoints along the route.
  • Timing certificates will be issued only to runners completing within the specified cut-off times:
    • Twenty Miler (32.18 km) – Under 4 hours 30 minutes
    • Half Marathon (21.1 km) – Under 3 hours 30 minutes
    • 10 km Run – Under 2 hours
    • 5 km Run – Under 1 hour
  • The Majaa Run is non-timed; therefore, no timing certificate will be provided.

After registration, participants will receive a link to join the Training WhatsApp Group. Select your preferred goal-time training group and follow the daily instructions shared by the coaches.

Regular Training Run at Erode

Time: Daily from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM

Registrations cannot be cancelled and registration payments are non-refundable.

Contact the event support team by email. Category changes will be considered subject to availability and were permitted until 30th September 2026 for the 2026 event.

Once payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address. If payment is successful but the confirmation email is not received, contact the registration partner and include the transaction reference number.

No, race entries are non-transferable.

No, registration will not be available on race day.

This could be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. The confirmation email may have landed in your Spam/Junk folder. Check the folder and mark the email as “Not Spam”.
  2. There may be a delay between payment and confirmation due to payment-gateway processing time.

If the delay exceeds a few hours, contact the registration partner with your transaction reference number.

No. Transfer of BIB and running using another participant’s BIB are strictly prohibited.

Race Day

The decision to delay, modify or cancel the race due to unfavourable weather rests solely with the event organisers. Participant safety and well-being will be the top priority.

Important Notes:

  • No refund of the registration fee will be provided if the race is cancelled due to weather or any other force majeure event.
  • The decision of the Race Director will be final and binding.

  • Aid stations will be clearly marked and available approximately every 2.5 km along the race course.
  • Each aid station will be equipped with water, isotonic sports drinks, fruits, salt and basic first aid including band-aids and pain-relief spray.
  • Participants must dispose of trash responsibly using the bins or bags provided near aid stations.

  • Ambulances will be stationed and will patrol the route.
  • A doctor and physiotherapist will be available at the venue and selected aid stations.
  • First-aid volunteers will be positioned at multiple points along the course.
  • Route marshals on bicycles and ground volunteers will assist runners experiencing fatigue, dehydration or difficulty continuing.
